We are looking for new practitioners to join our team as we look to further develop our Practice. Find out more about us and our region below.
We have an experienced, high-performing team comprised of General Practitioners (two of which are Fellows), Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, a Health Improvement Practitioner and a Health Coach supported by a Business Manager and full Admin/Reception Team. The Practice is jointly owned by two onsite GP’s and South Link Health.
Our modern, purpose-built practice was completed in 2017. It is fully equipped with the latest technology and includes two minor operation rooms and a dedicated triage area for urgent, same-day appointments.
We are the largest General Practice in the region, with 10 500 enrolled patients. We have an on-site Pharmacy and Physiotherapist with the addition of various visiting Specialists providing services from our premises. We are also a GP and nurse teaching facility.
About Ashburton
Ashburton is large enough to have many of the major New Zealand chain stores but also small enough to have boutique shops, and unique local cafes and bars. You can choose to live in the town or further afield still enjoying the fantastic mountain views.
We have a population of 21 700 and enjoy a dry, temperate climate.
We are a short one hour drive from Christchurch, the biggest city in the South Island. Christchurch Airport offers domestic and international flights. Our region offers a host of activities including hiking, golf, fishing and hunting. In winter Mt Hutt Skifield is only 1 hour away.
